The sharp, functional 30 inch forged 5160 high carbon steel blades are marquenched to an edge hardness of 57HRC and heat treated. They have a full length, double pegged tang and a real brass Habaki. The guard is crafted of traditional blackened iron with the distinctive Raptor pattern. The fittings are made of blackened steel and also feature the Raptor motif. The wooden scabbards have a textured lacquered finish to resist fingerprinting. The 13 13/16th inch, wooden core handle features real rayskin and a special non-stretching suede wrap.
