Citadel Katana Swords are completely hand made entirely in their small shop in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. They are crafted individually from start to finish, each one is of course a bit unique in its own way. These swords are limited, each is signed by the smith on the nakago with the sword number and includes a matching certificate.

Citadel Lotus Katana Swords for sale are 40 inches in all and weigh 2 pounds 6 ounces. The Lotus Katana Swords are from a limited edition collection of only 100 swords produced by Citadel. The number of each of these limited edition and limited production samurai swords is signed onto the sword by the sword smith. The functional 27 ½ inch 1075 steel katana blade is sharpened and designed for traditional target cutting of harder targets. Without a bo-hi or fuller they have a weightier more forward balanced design. The hand cut fittings are crafted of pure iron with a deep black patina. The lotus pattern of the tsuba was chosen by Citadel to reflect the older and simpler style of the sword. The hand carved 11 inch handle features a Japanese black natural silk wrap and real ray skin. The number of each of these limited edition and limited production samurai swords is signed onto the sword by the sword smith. The functional 27 ¾ inch European 1075 high steel katana blade is hand forged and differentially hardened. These swords feature a full length bo hi to lighten and balance the blade. This hand cut pure iron tsuba has a stippled pattern that is accomplished by hand. The 11 inch handle is wrapped in genuine imported Japanese silk that has been tightly wrapped around real ray skin.
