This contemporary version features a functional and sharpened 36 inch double-edged blade. The 1055 Carbon Steel blade, which terminates in an extremely pointed tip, is shorter and lighter than other similar rapiers thus providing the Cavalier greater speed and agility. The 8 ¼ inch handle features a wire wrapped grip. The tempered steel pierced shell guard, rings, quillons and knuckle bow provide optimum hand protection.
