Hanwei Tactical Katana swords for sale. These swords are crafted with exceptional strength. Derived from the blade geometry and tremendous slicing capability of the Paul Chen Raptor series wakizashi swords, Hanwei created this tactical version. The Tactical Samurai Katana has full tang construction and a plasma-coated, 27 1/2 inch, 5160 high-carbon spring steel blade. The plasma coating creates an additional resistance against corrosion. The checkered 10 ½ inch Kraton handle offers exceptional handling ability. The fiberglass scabbard discourages water absorption and minimizes carrying weight. Consistent with the concept of producing a tactical sword, Hanwei integrated several lanyard holes and included ParaCord providing for different carrying and backpack attachment choices. Tactical Katana swords measure 39 ½ inches overall and weigh approximately 2 pounds.
