These medieval blades were historically referred to as Slaughter-swords due to the ferocity associated with them. This functional and balanced Lowlander Sword has a 48 inch edged blade crafted of 1566 steel. They are popular for reenactment and theater use. They feature a 21 inch two-handed handle that is covered in real leather. The handle is overlaid with a handsome leather binding. In homage to the design of the real sword they are designed after, these swords feature authentic Scottish quatrefoils in the ring guards. In order to properly display this magnificent piece, a wall mount is included. These medieval swords weigh 6 pounds 14 ounces.
