Naval Dirk or Short Swords

Cold Steel Naval Dirk is 21
7/8" overall. This short sword has a 16 1/2" double edged 1050 high carbon steel blade with blood
groove. Black horn grip with brass cross guard and pommel. Wood lined
leather scabbard with brass fittings.
Scottish Dirk:
A dirk would be found commonly in Scotland circa 1700. This
piece was a must have for any highlander. The blade is single
edged and sharpened to a fine point. Often the dirk would be held in the
same hand as the arm that was holding the targe with the dirk pointing down
to prevent his adversary from
closing in on him.
