CAS Hanwei Hanwei Practical Katana Swords are 39" overall. The 27" sharpened high carbon steel blade is differentially hardened and forged creating a HRC60 edge and HRC40 back. These swords have an authentic and prominent temper line. The fittings are sturdily built to withstand rigorous cutting activities. The simulated rayskin handle is 11" with a black cord wrap. The tsuba is black coated metal. The weight is 2lb 5 oz. The point of balance is 5". The guard has a thickness of 0.27" with a width of 1.22". The tip of the Practical Katana has a thickness of 0.18" and width of 0.87". The Practical Katana includes cloth storage sleeve and a wooden scabbard with a black lacquer finish.
