Claymore Swords
Overall Length: 57" Steel Hilted Claymore Swords: One of the most recognizable swords of all times, the Claymore conjures up images of the fearsome highlanders of Scotland. Useful for shearing the heads off of pole weapons such as halberds and pikes, these great two handed swords were highly valued on the battle field. Our versions feature the classic down swept quillons ending in quatrefoils, solid round pommels, and 39-inch tempered blades. The heavy round pommel on these swords offer both the balance needed to be worked as a cleaving and a striking point to double as a smashing weapon.

They are not to be used in theatrical-style reenacting except where specifically named for that purpose and designed for that specific use. You should not strike a sword against another sword. Swords are subject to the laws of Physics. No matter how strong the steel is in any sword or edged collectible, it can nick or chip when struck against another sword or something hard. While our practical and functional swords and edged collectibles are designed to be used for soft target cutting only i.e. tamashigiri (the cutting of mats), they should only be used for that purpose by well trained professionals. Never perform cutting exercises without proper training and supervision. While Valiant Armoury swords and edged collectibles certainly could be used to cut many other items or objects, this is not their intended use and it is quite dangerous to do so and any use other than for its intended purpose will void the warranty and endanger the user.
